Volvo V70 DRIVe with five stars in the ADAC ekoteście ADAC - the largest organization in the automotive world, organized annually awarded the eco-test five-star car Volvo V70 1.6D DRIVe. Volvo V70 diesel is the first in the history of conventional fuel-powered car, which received the ecological study, five stars.

In most tests, the Volvo V70 has reached the lowest level of carbon dioxide emissions among all cars in its class. Out of over a thousand models of cars tested by the ADAC technology experts, only three other models have achieved good results in the same way as the V70 DRIVe - two of which are models of hybrid cars, and the third is gas powered.

Tests were carried out in actual traffic, and car models were assessed by several parameters. In addition to emissions of carbon dioxide and particulates, among other things also tested air-conditioning system performance.
