During the Motor Show in Geneva Volkswagen booth to see six new models: Sharan, Touareg, Amarok, Polo GTI, Cross Polo and Golf Cross.
Sharan. The new Sharan is extremely economical and very versatile Van. This car is offered with 4 drive units, the note is the 2.0 TDI engine with a capacity of 140 hp, which in this car consumes just 5.5 liters of fuel per 100 km. The Sharan will debut the latest Park Assist system that can park your own car in the vulnerability, the longer the car just by 0.8 meters.
Touareg. Touareg debut is the most technically innovative model of the Volkswagen brand since inception. Its motors consume almost 20% less fuel than the previous version. Its body is longer by more than 4 cm, although it lighter by as much as 208 kilograms. The car will be available not only to the popular 3.0 TDI engine with 240 hp, but also as a hybrid. Hybrid Touareg has a maximum power of 380 hp and a torque of 580 Nm, accelerates the first one hundred in just 6.5 seconds.
Amarok. Volkswagen Amarok is no doubt the world's most modern pickup. Modern TDI engines with turbocharging and direct injection set new standards in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions in this segment. Comfort driving and active and passive safety level corresponds to the well-known passenger cars, while Amarok is extremely robust car that can cope well in the field. The car will be available in Europe in the middle of the year with two engines and three types of transmission. With the 4Motion Amarok even fully loaded, beat 100 percent rise. Maximum trailer weight is 2.8 tons.
Polo GTI. The new Polo GTI is a combination of excellent, hard-hitting dynamics and maximum security. This model is driven by the new TSI engine with a capacity of 1.4 liter turbo compressor and a 180 hp. Responsible for transmission is the front axle, 7-speed DSG gearbox and an electronic lock, transverse (XDS). Weighing 1184 kilograms a car accelerates to 100 km / h in just 6.9 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 229 km / h. At the same time it is the most economical and cleanest in the history of the GTI. Average fuel consumption is only 6 liters per 100 kilometers. Previous model Polo GTI, with even the 1.8-liter turbo engine, consumed 7.9 liters (188 g / km CO2). The new GTI is therefore about 25 percent more fuel efficient.
Cross Polo. Cross Polo Polo is the fourth model. With fresh styling, prepared specially for him palette and equipment, with increased suspension by 15 millimeters and excellent suitability for everyday, this five-door car without a doubt is one of the most unconventional car in its class
Cross Golf. The current series of courses - the most popular concept car ever - clearly emphasizes all its advantages on the road all over the world. During the Geneva Salon has its world premiere Cross Golf with the new styling, new engines TDI and TSI and the new equipment. After the classic Golf, Golf Plus, Golf Variant and Golf GTI, and introduced a few weeks ago the Golf R, the offer will now include six unique models. New Cross Golf, like its predecessor, is based on the Golf Plus.
